Pad Thai Padel isn't a court rental business — it's a community that happens to play padel. Your job is to make sure every member feels known, has a crew, and always has a reason to come back this week. You are the person who knows that Khun A just moved up a level, that B and C would be a great match, and that the Tuesday night group needs two more regulars.
Events & activations — the engine
- Build and run a monthly events calendar: americanos, mixed socials, level-based mini-leagues, themed nights, brand activations with sponsors and partners.
- Own each event end-to-end: concept, promotion, sign-ups, on-the-night hosting, and follow-up.
- Target rhythm: multiple events per week, each one full. An empty event is a bug, not bad luck.
- Work with the Academy team so events feed the coaching funnel — clinics to groups to memberships — and vice versa.
Knowing the members — the database in your head, and in the system
- Learn names, levels, playing styles, schedules, and preferences — and capture them in our member profiles, not just in your memory.
- Track who's new, who's cooling off, and who's ready for more — and act on it within days, not months.
- The first 30 days of a new member are yours: make sure they play at least 3 times, meet people at their level, and join one group or event.
Nudging & matchmaking — the superpower
- Place players into the right recurring groups, WhatsApp and LINE circles, ladders, and events based on level and vibe.
- Personally invite people — “There's an americano Thursday and it's exactly your level” beats any broadcast message.
- Manage the club's group chats: keep them alive, useful, and friendly; seed matches when courts are quiet.
- Feed events and offers into the Pad Thai Padel app so the digital experience mirrors what you're doing on the floor.
Voice of the member
- Surface what members want — formats, times, pricing friction, coach demand — to management every week.
- Handle the human side of complaints and win-backs before they become churn.
Who you are
- A natural host — the person who introduces strangers at a party and makes both feel great.
- Ideally you play padel — but a genuine interest in sports and the drive to learn the basics fast is enough, and we'll support you with coaching to get there. Some racket-sports experience helps. We don't need the best player on court; we need the most enthusiastic person in the room.
- Fluent in Thai and English — our community is a Thai and expat mix, and you'll run LINE and WhatsApp groups in parallel.
- Organized enough to run a calendar and a member database; social enough that it never feels like admin to members.
- Background in hospitality, fitness or club community, events, or customer success is a plus. Attitude beats CV.
How we'll measure success
- Event fill rate — share of event spots filled. Target: 90%+.
- Events per month, plus off-peak court occupancy lift on event nights.
- New member activation — new members who play 3+ times and join a group or event in their first 30 days.
- Repeat rate & retention — members playing weekly, month over month.
- Group health — number of active recurring groups and their attendance.
What we offer
- A front-row seat at Bangkok's most ambitious padel club — with an academy, a loyalty app, and international ambitions: we're building toward an Asian circuit.
- Free play and coaching, an event budget you control, and a direct line to the founders.
- Salary of ฿50,000–120,000/month depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to the KPIs above.
